Pensacola, Florida Museum of Commerce Wedding

I’ve never cried at a wedding as much as I did at Malerie & Zach’s. It will forever be one of the most meaningful, beautiful days I’ve documented.

Malerie is the ultimate daddy’s girl and their bond is undeniable when you see them together. When a car accident left him paralyzed two years ago, she wasn’t sure that he would be able to walk her down the aisle. She was newly engaged and both her and her fiancé Zach dropped everything to take care of her dad in the days that followed. I can’t imagine the stress that she felt in those early post-accident days as they tried to look forward to the future but the dark cloud of the unknown loomed overhead.

But, Chuck walked his little girl down the aisle. And they slow danced. And we all cried about a gallon of tears.

The other man in Malerie’s life, her husband Zach is about as good as they get. As her sister said, a lot of men would have ran from this difficult situation but he showed up, suited up, and supported this family through the roughest of times. If that’s not true, unconditional love… I don’t know what is! A true testament to his character and love for Malerie. Congratulations to this beautiful family!
