High school sweethearts Hailey & Clayton chose downtown Fairhope and the pier for the backdrop of their engagement session. I could not have asked for a better couple to spend the afternoon with! They really embraced having fun during the session and were game to try all of my suggestions which really made for beautiful, natural portraits!

I spent the afternoon with Maritza & Grant (and their sweet pup Shade!) in picturesque Magnolia Springs and I couldn’t wait to share a few pictures from their engagement session! Their wedding is on NYE and I couldn’t ask for a better couple to ring in the New Year with.

As much as I enjoyed the calm off season, I was ready to jump back into the busy chaos of all these upcoming Spring and Summer weddings! Kristen & Cameron’s at The Abby Rose was the perfect way to begin this season. Rain was in the forecast but the ominous clouds skirted past us and we had a beautiful day and FUN night!

This is a fun blog to post because I went to high school with Rebecca & Chad! She followed my Facebook page and loved my work but it wasn’t until she went to contact me that she realized who I was!

Heather & Tim’s Christmas elopement at Bevolo Gas Lantern Museum in New Orleans was such a modern, sleek way to tie the knot! They were such a fun couple to work with and I about died when I saw her dress and shoes. Blue velvet! I came to find out later that they are both designers which made perfect sense. The backdrop of Bevolo was the perfect, industrial, unique setting to say their vows in front of a couple of their friends that traveled to witness the union! Check out a few of my favorite images from their day!

Holly & Nick’s wedding took place at the beautiful, iconic Richards DAR House in downtown Mobile. Holly was amazing to work with because of her amazing attention to detail and how loving she is! She set up thoughtful moments throughout the day for Nick, their parents, and maid of honor! Check out some of my favorite moments from their day!

Up on the blog is such a classy, emotional wedding that was beautiful to watch unfold. Hillary and Jami’s wedding day took place at Bragg Mitchell Mansion and Oak Park Church. They were surrounded by the most supportive bridal party ever! Everyone was so happy to be a part of the day and we had a blast doing their portraits. My favorite moment of their day was Hillary’s first look. Jami was absolutely stunned when he turned around and saw her! His jaw literally dropped as you’ll see below. Check out some of my favorite images from their day!

Hillary’s bridal portrait session at Bragg Mitchell Mansion was absolutely perfect and I can’t wait to share my favorite images from the day!

I’ve been staring at a blinking cursor for a half hour trying to find the words to describe Carlos & Abby’s wedding day. It really was just that amazing! The vibe, the people, the venue, the aesthetic, the pure love surrounding the day. I am so grateful that I was able to work with this amazing […]

Cecile & An’s engagement session took place in the historic Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans. Her mother recreated the gown from the movie Atonement which was a perfect match for the hauntingly beautiful, crumbly marble tombs from the 1800s. I love that they stepped outside the box and planned the engagement session to match their […]
