Chelsey and Johnny began the day getting ready at The Steeple On St. Francis in downtown Mobile, AL. I’m not going to lie, it was a hot August day but luckily the bridal suite has amazing light and Chelsey opted to do most of her pre-wedding portraits in the A/C instead of outdoors.

I swear I get to work with the kindest families! From the moment I arrived at Kayla’s family home in Fairhope overlooking the bay, I felt SO welcomed! So much that I’ve decided to move in with them and enjoy those water views 😉 The wedding was held at the beautiful, classic Sacred Heart followed by a reception at the Venue in downtown Fairhope!
My first wedding of 2020 was unforgettable! We began the day at the beautiful Windsor Court where Tracey and her bridesmaids sipped champagne and listened to old rap music in anticipation of the dance party that would end the night!
Kaitlyn & Garrett’s Fairhope engagement session was the absolute best way to kick off this wedding season! We had planned on a different location but Fairhope’s Mardi Gras (how did I not know that’s a thing, haha!) caused us to detour to a random location that had the dreamiest light!
Get ready for the happiest bride of ALL time! Helen is one of the kindest, happiest souls I’ve ever met! Paul is her perfect compliment… He’s just as happy go lucky as her. There wasn’t a single moment of stress that I witnessed from family, bridal party, or guests!
Here are some highlights of an Audubon Zoo Tea Room wedding that included GLITTER FACE PAINTING, a tandem bike rose petal exit, the Hora, Cafe Du Monde beignet truck, custom Mardi Gras beads, second line parade, and the groomsmen reading a feminist wedding planning book that’s officially the best thing ever.
I’ve never cried at a wedding as much as I did at Malerie & Zach’s at the Pensacola, Florida Museum of Commerce. It will forever be one of the most meaningful, beautiful days I’ve documented.
Rachel & Ronak’s elaborate 2-day Indian and American elopement has me pinching myself!
I began the day capturing their Haldi ceremony followed a first look, portraits, and Milni ceremony at The Henderson A Salamander Beach & Spa Resort in Destin, Florida. It was MAGICAL. They planned for a big traditional wedding but decided to scrap the idea and do an intimate elopement with 9 guests and make it truly about their union. It was vibrant, intimate, heartfelt, beautiful… I could go on and on! The second day they held an American beach wedding!
Saturday’s wedding at St. Joseph’s Chapel at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama was exactly like Haley and Andy’s relationship. It was deep, meaningful, beautiful, FUN, goofy, and hard at moments.
As much as I love working big wedding days, I knew I wanted mine to be simple and intimate. Well, even though it was tiny, it packed in some stress. I worked the weekend before my wedding and the next morning, the videographer let me know he tested positive for COVID that morning. The […]
