Congratulations to Harley & Brace! Their wedding was a DREAM wedding to capture. We started the day at The Grand Hotel in Point Clear under the picturesque mossy oaks and ended the evening dancing under the stars at The Venue in Fairhope.
Caroline + Cooper’s stunning, heartfelt wedding near Birmingham, Alabama was at the Shoal Creek Golf & Country Club on a beautiful Spring day! I mean the weather was PERFECT. Sunny with a breeze that kept her guests comfortable all evening long. One of the biggest things that stood out to me on their wedding day was the emotions and love shared between them and their family. It was one of the most emotional days this year and I think I cried about 3 times. Not full blown sobbing because that would be weird but tearing up at the sweet moments!
Katie + Dean’s wedding began at the Ezell House in downtown Mobile, Alabama. The Ezell House is a beautiful, unique venue. The main house has various parlor rooms for guests to enjoy, a courtyard with string lights (which gives me life!), and a separate house with the bar and groom’s suite. It’s awesome when the bride and groom both have a designated area on site to use for getting ready and hanging out with their best friends before they walk down the aisle. After everyone was dressed and ready, a trolley transported the bridal party to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in midtown Mobile for their catholic mass ceremony. It was a beautiful service followed by a fun reception under the string lights! The weather was freaking perfect! A cool breeze that begged guests to stay outside and enjoy the courtyard! Congratulations to the happy couple!
Elizabeth and Colton’s wedding took place at the picturesque Northriver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on a beautiful, bright February day. After their wedding, I kept thinking about how much I love brunch weddings! They are fantastic! Pretty light, delicious brunch food (waffle stations and biscuits and gravy, do I need to say more?!), and mimosas!
Laura and Joe’s ceremony took place at St. James Episcopal Church in Fairhope, Alabama. It is a stunning church! The preacher didn’t allow any pictures of the ceremony which was a first for me but the rest of the day was beautiful to capture! Their reception was at the Nix Center right around the corner from the church.
Hailey and Clay’s ceremony took place at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church in Elberta, AL and the reception was at PZK Hall in Robertsdale. We chose to do portraits nearby after their first look! Hailey surprised Clay with a Brackish feather bowtie that went perfectly with his suit.
Y’all, where do I even begin? Not only is Farren an extremely talented photographer, she is an absolute joy to work with! She makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease from the get go, and knows how to efficiently take countless photos that come out looking downright amazing. Even my husband, who can barely stand to take 5 photos a year, loved working with her and genuinely loved the resulting photos.

Martiza and Grant’s ceremony took place at St. Margaret’s of Scotland in Foley and it was amazing! Grant’s reaction to seeing Maritza was one of the sweetest moments of the day! After the ceremony, we had limited time to do the portraits and it began to POUR in the middle of the couple portraits. They were literally showered in good luck as we all sprinted to cover.
