First off, can every first look include pets? Yes or yes? Anna & Jackson’s wedding at the iconic Bragg Mitchell Mansion in Mobile, Alabama was one for the books. They both have the best personalities – full of joy and they were so fun to work with.
Can you believe this Live Oak Plantation wedding in Pensacola was in the middle of a wild thunderstorm? Checking the radar as I arrived, I saw we had maybe 30 minutes before a huge storm hit. I asked Rachel if we was okay skipping robe shots, gowning photos, etc.. to jump into couple portraits and she said YES! We were able to do all these photos and then the storm hit flooding her venue. But, they were pros and shop vac’d the water out and it went on without a hitch. Talk about a wild day but it was only able to come out this beautiful because of how calm Rachel was in the face of adversity. Congratulations to these two!
Heron Pointe is a beautiful venue at the Wharf in Orange Beach Alabama that has southern wrap around porches, views of the bay, and big shady oak to add to the southern flair. Jensen was a stunning bride that was incredibly easy to work with! She planned her wedding within months and remained focused on the main thing that matters – marrying her soul mate. Here’s a few of my favorites!
One of the venues that I work at the most is the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach! One of my favorite things about Coastal Arts Center is how you can really it make your own with décor, florals, and dress colors! Chelsey and Nick’s wedding POPPED and I was in love with the varying gowns and florals that Jillian at Fleur Zoe created. Here’s a few of my fav!
Abby and Grant were married at the Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach, Alabama on a beautiful sunny day! She has THE BEST personality which made photography effortless. When a bride shows up chill, happy, and ready to have a good time… you can feel it in every photo. She even did the worm in her wedding dress on the dance floor!
Pablo & Hannah’s New Orleans wedding was one of my favorites of 2021! We had to reschedule due to the pandemic but it was worth the wait to celebrate in the beautiful Roosevelt Hotel while it was decorated for Christmas
Krista and Brandon’s winter wedding in Fairhope and at Bella Sera Gardens was a perfect opportunity to play with light and posing that was a little more dramatic than normal! They were the sweetest couple to work with and I am obsessed with Krista’s dress!
Amanda & Preston!
One of the sweetest things about their day is when Amanda pulled out a spiral notebook to read Preston’s letter to her. Turns out, he’s been writing letters to her in this notebook since LAST YEAR. How sweet is that!
As we pulled up to the Grand Hotel for portraits, the rain began to pour and we were left figuring out a plan B for the first look and portraits. Luckily, the church was open and we were able to use it! After the ceremony, we walked out into sunshine and were able to get beautiful portraits before their reception! Here’s some highlights of their day!
Here are my favorite photos from Bass and Virginia’s rooftop, modern wedding in New Orleans! Nothing about their day felt like a production. It had all the love and none of the stress.
